Wakefieldite-(Ce), Brewsterite

This specimen features a perfect micro crystal of wakefieldite elegantly perched on the prism face of a brewsterite crystal. Wakefieldite crystals are deep red, almost black, and exhibit a blocky habit. These are widely regarded as the world's finest wakefieldite specimens. As is typical for wakefieldite, all the crystals are micros. A superb example of this rare species!
