This is a noteworthy and quite unusual specimen featuring lustrous, translucent vanadinite prisms with a rich brick-red colour covering much of a mini stalactite. The crystals are dramatically clustered showing reddish-orange hues. This specimen stands out due to its unique growth and overall richness. Dr. Tarassoff acquired this specimen from the Montreal Gem and Mineral Club Show in 1981. Given its extraordinary clarity, gemminess, and unusual morphology, this piece is a great example from Mibladen, which is renowned for its fine vanadinites.
