This miniature to small cabinet sized specimen features well-formed, orange-brown vanadinite crystals, up to 4 mm in size, exhibiting the characteristic J.C. Holmes Mine habit—sharp prismatic crystals with distinct pyramidal terminations. People still collect at this locality but decent specimens are getting harder and harder to extract. This specimen is easily at least several decades old. The specimen is in excellent condition, with only minimal bruising that does not detract from its overall aesthetic appeal.
