Tremolite

This specimen features a pair of gemmy green tremolite crystal prisms, cleaved at the back but terminated at both the top and bottom. A small sidecar crystal clings attractively to one side. It’s an excellent example of the tremolite crystals found in this area.

While tremolite itself is relatively common in the region, it rarely occurs well-formed, lustrous green crystals such as these, making this a particularly desirable and display-worthy example from the locality.
