This Grenvillian titanite specimen features abundant dark brown titanite with mirror-like surfaces in a microcline feldspar matrix. Toward the back of the piece are aggregates with complex growth patterns and crystal faces, while near the top / front sits a single, more well-formed crystal. The specimen comes from Titanite Hill, a locality known for producing notable Grenville minerals such as fluorapatite, fluoro-richterite, and titanite. It was collected by my father and me in 2020.
