This palm-sized specimen consists primarily of massive serandite, showing several crystal faces where the crystals developed tightly pressed together in a dense aggregate. Despite its compact growth, the piece displays good surface definition and an appealing natural texture typical of the highly sought after Mont Saint-Hilaire serandite. What makes this specimen particularly interesting is its distinct dual coloration, a soft velvety orange-peach hue intermingled with areas of delicate pink, giving the specimen a warm, glowing appearance under light. A very attractive and representative example of serandite from the world-famous Mont Saint-Hilaire locality, known for producing some of the finest and most vividly coloured crystals of this rare mineral species.
