A very large (size matters with this one) pale yellow to grey crystal of stibiconite, a pseudomorph after stibnite, partially coated in yellow micro-balls of valentinite. This is a particularly choice example, good display size, complete replacement of the original stibnite by the later mineral. A classic Mexican locality piece. The specimen was purchased by Dr. Tarassoff from the Camden Mineral Co., Belmont Corner, Maine, 1968.
