This specimen features a gemmy, apple-green pseudo-cubic cuprian smithsonite crystals, perched atop a bed of micro smithsonite and calcite crystals. The main crystal displays finely stepped, rounded faces with complex, beveled edges, exemplifying the superb crystallography for which Tsumeb smithsonite is celebrated. The rich, minty-green coloration is particularly rare among smithsonites, making specimens of this hue highly sought-after by collectors. This attractive miniature comes from the collection of Robert Yeoman, the Irish-born, Toronto-based collector renowned for his exceptional Namibian mineral material.
