This specimen showcases numerous smoky-grey, transparent smithsonite rhombohedrons, all inter-grown with a prominent central crystal that displays a subtle, satin-like interior sheen. A touch of dark oxidation is present in some areas, which actually helps one see the crystal forms when on display. This is a classic example of smithsonite from the renowned Tsumeb Mine, famous for producing an exceptional variety of distinct, world-class smithsonites.
