This thumbnail specimen features several well-formed, sharp, golden-silvery octahedral siegenite crystals on matrix accompanied by cubic galena, as well as associated marcasite. Siegenite, a rare cobalt-nickel sulfide, is best known from the Buick Mine in Missouri’s Viburnum Trend, which has produced some of the finest examples of the species. This old stock material is rarely available making this a superb addition for collectors of rare species or those seeking an excellent combo example of siegenite from this classic locality.
