Canada
Dimensions: 4.8x3.3x2.0 cm

This specimen features a section of scapolite. The scapolite exhibits an orange fluorescence under UV light, which is interesting because scapolite from this area usually fluoresces pink. Comes from a well-known pegmatite collecting locality within the Grenville Province in Quebec. The area is designated as a "Zec," or "Zone d'Exploitation Contrôlée," meaning a controlled exploration zone, where collecting is carefully managed to ensure the preservation of its mineralogy.

Note: All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). International customers are charged in CAD, exchange rate is calculated automatically by your bank/paypal upon checkout.
