Rosasite, Hemimorphite

79 Mine, nr. Hayden, Gila Co., Arizona
USA
Dimensions: 6.3x4.9x2.6 cm
Price: CA

This specimen features a section of a hemimorphite-lined vug hosting numerous spiky blue-green rosasite spheres, accented by light blue-green chrysocolla scattered in spots. Simply a very nice, colourful, aesthetic sample of association material from this classic Arizona locality.

The 79 Mine, discovered in 1879, is a historic lead-zinc deposit with a long and complex operational history. While the site remains closed to the public, renewed interest and activity under current ownership have resulted in a resurgence of fine mineral specimen recovery.

Note: All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). International customers are charged in CAD, exchange rate is calculated automatically by your bank/paypal upon checkout.
