Plumbogummite, a rare secondary lead phosphate mineral, is showcased in this specimen with unusually large, rich blue botryoidal mounds that coat a bright yellow pyromorphite matrix. This specimen may very well be from some of the earliest discoveries at the Daoping mine, characterized by a deep blue hue distinct from the more common later finds. Though there are some bruises, this specimen remains a choice example of the rare deep-blue plumbogummite.
