This notable specimen features white spherulitic aggregates of acicular mesolite crystals, prominently displayed on an extensive matrix of minute chabazite crystals coating basalt. Acquired by Dr. Tarassoff in 1975 through an exchange with W. Birch, Curator of Minerals at the National Museum of Victoria, this piece exemplifies the fine mineralogical diversity of zeolites found in basalt formations.
