A scientifically intriguing micro specimen from the world-renowned Mont Saint-Hilaire alkaline complex, featuring a rare and diverse association of martinite, sazhinite-(Ce), erdite, and an unidentified crystal (UK-73). Tiny, well-formed crystals of martinite and slender prismatic sazhinite-(Ce) are scattered within the vuggy matrix, accompanied by delicate, fibrous aggregates of erdite, a rare sodium-iron silicate. This multifaceted assemblage is an excellent example of the extraordinary mineral diversity produced by Mont Saint-Hilaire’s highly evolved alkaline system and would be a noteworthy addition to any advanced micromount or species-focused collection.
