The inside of of this iron/manganese oxide matrix vug is covered by lustrous, prismatic jet black manganite crystals and accompanied by a few clear quartz crystals on one side. An excellent example of this manganese mineral from a famous mine that once produced massive amounts of iron for Canadian and US WWII efforts amongst other things.
