The inside of of this iron/manganese oxide matrix vug is covered by lustrous, prismatic jet black manganite crystals and accompanied by milky white to clear quartz crystals. A very nice example of this manganese mineral from a famous mine that once produced massive amounts of iron for Canadian and US WWII efforts amongst other things.
