This specimen showcases a combination of deep indigo-blue, sharp, lustrous lazulite crystals alongside thick, blocky siderite, and clear white pure apatite on matrix. Lazulite, a rare magnesium aluminum phosphate, is highly prized from this region, which is known for producing some of the finest examples of the mineral. As no new material is currently being extracted from Rapid Creek, specimens like this are becoming increasingly rare, making them particularly valuable to collectors.
