An extremely rich specimen of gold in quartz with lots of dark brown sphalerite and a couple of patches of a rich-silver tellurite mineral. Looks very much like tetradymite but has not been identified. Very nice! Estimated to contain 3.5 grams of gold. The underground at this mine has been long closed. 🙁 The mine, however operated for many decades and produced in the vicinity of 10 million troy ounces. Some of the nicest specimens of native gold in the Timmins mining camp came from the Pamour Mine!
