This striking specimen features a quartz matrix richly mineralized with visible native gold, as well as specks of pyrite, sphalerite, and silver-coloured telluride mineralization. This is a rich specimen with bright yellow-orange gold exposed across the quartz surface. Despite the absence of a label or confirmed locality, this is an extremely rich and attractive example of gold-bearing quartz from this prolific gold-producing region of Canada. The gold content is visually estimated at approximately 7 grams.
