Here is a precious metals-rich specimen from the Vermillion Mine, Sudbury area. The matrix has an interesting formation consisting of a rounded aggregate of chalcopyrite, rimmed by lead-grey galena. Outside of that structure, blebs and leaves of native gold are exposed, as shown by the arrows. There are other globs. Hard to come by these, these days!
