Gold, Chalcopyrite, Pyrite

This section of quartz vein is splattered with chalcopyrite, pyrite and gold. You need to look carefully at the various goldy-colour shades but much of it is gold! There is estimated to be three grams of so of gold throughout it! The Hoyle pond Mine is a more modern-discovered mine and was discovered on the Kidd Creek Mine Property. As if Kidd Creek didn't have enough riches! Since it started operating in 1985, it has produced many millions of troy ounces of gold.
