Gold can be seen exposed in its quartz matrix on all four sides of this rich sample from the San Antonio Mine, in Manitoba. The mine was established in 1926 by entrepreneur John Draper Perrin with the erection of several mine buildings on the north shore of Rice Lake at the present-day site of Bissett.
