This specimen features gold in milky white quartz from the Rundle Gold Mine (also known as the Claude Rundle Gold Mine) in the Porcupine Mining District. Established around 1940-42 and operated by Hollinger Gold Mines Ltd., the mine was discovered by Claude Rundle. It is currently inactive, with no plans for reopening. We see very very few specimens from this little known gold mine, doesn't even have a page on Mindat!
