This specimen of greasy quartz, with chlorite inclusions has a fine dusting of tiny grains of gold in small groupings here and there. The Lakeshore mine was famous for very fine, tiny gold particles, very difficult to see but that made a decent mining/milling grade. This mine produced millions of ounces of gold and paid over 95 million dollars of dividends over 100 years ago! Rich!
