This rich thumbnail specimen features brilliant yellow native gold, and patches of brown-red sphalerite, and minor pyrite in white quartz matrix from the little-known Bennett Mine, a small open-cut deposit located east of Shining Tree and west of Gowganda, just off Ontario Highway 560. A well-trimmed, visually striking thumbnail from a seldom-seen Canadian locality, ideal for gold and Canadian mineral collectors alike. Specific gravity test estimates a gold content of 1.68g.
