"Black opaque rounded xls. of geikielite to 1cm., with calcite, serpentine, hydrotalcite. Ref.: Canadian Minerallogist, 9, part 1, 95(1967). Specimen collected at same time as material described in latter paper, by H.R. Steacy, 2 August 1964
Gift of H.R. Steacy, Curator of Systematic Mineral Collection, Geological Survey of Canada; 6 July 1971. Cataloged Aug. 1971"
Biggest crystal is not whole, partially contacted, however geikielite is rarely found in crystals like this and so it remains a good example for the species.
