A superb example of massive sulphides from one of the greatest VMS (Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide ) deposits in the world, the Sullivan Mine at Kimberly, British Columbia. The deposit was discovered early last century and was operated for nearly100 years! And it was a BIG Mine. Of note is the very flat layers in the sulphides, indicative of a quiescent deposition.
