Tucked safely within a vug of limestone, this specimen features several colourless to purple fluorite cubes. It was collected from the Beamsville Quarry, an active limestone operation in Beamsville, Ontario. Access to the site is restricted and collecting is only permitted through organized mineral club visits. While the quarry is best known for its calcite specimens, fluorite does occur—this piece is proof of that lesser-seen but noteworthy occurrence.
