This specimen is a lustrous, doubly terminated green fluorapatite crystal from the Gibson Road East locality in Tory Hill, Ontario. The crystal is sharp, well-formed, and undamaged, besides extremely minimal bruising on the back. It has excellent translucency and a rich, saturated green hue. Both terminations are fully intact, and the surfaces exhibit a bright vitreous lustre that highlights the crystal’s symmetry and clarity. High-quality apatite crystals from this locality are uncommon, especially in such pristine condition, making this a standout piece for collectors of Canadian minerals or phosphate species.
