Epidote

This attractive thumbnail specimen features a single, sharply defined epidote crystal prism with excellent form and brilliant vitreous lustre. The crystal is well-proportioned, showing crisp prism faces and clean terminations that reflect light beautifully from every angle.

Although this piece arrived without a label, its crystal habit, colour, and overall appearance strongly suggest an origin from Pakistan, a region well known for producing world-class epidote specimens, particularly from alpine-type metamorphic environments.

A fine, well-crystallized example of epidote that sits perfectly in a thumbnail box, compact, lustrous, and highly aesthetic, ideal for display or as a representative example of this classic species.
