This specimen showcases a cluster of several well-formed twinned sixlings of beige epididymite crystals, a rare beryllium mineral. The vuggy matrix, formed from altered pegmatite, is rich with a variety of minerals. The epididymite crystals are accompanied by delicate pinkish-orange acicular serandite. Additionally, lustrous maroon eudialyte crystals can be found near the tip of the matrix. A couple willemite crystals are also present on the surface, exhibiting a distinct bright green fluorescence under shortwave UV light, with a phosphorescence that lingers for a full second before fading. An unknown mineral coats some of the willemite and glows orange under longwave UV, adding another layer of interest to this already fascinating piece.
