Dolomite, Marcasite, Calcite

This is a cluster of slightly curved, very sharp dolomite crystals that have a veneer of oriented calcite crystals on the faces. Epitaxy! A myriad of sparkling marcasite crystals are sprinkled over the specimen. Also some pyrite crystals in a couple of spots. Nice specimen from this long closed base metals mine, one of the most northern in the world! Displays very well.
