A fine-quality miniature specimen featuring a prominent crystallized cuprite perched on a bed of associated malachite and calcite. The sharply formed crystal reaches about 10 mm and shows good lustre with a rich red-wine colouration and a subtle silvery metallic sheen across the crystal faces.

The specimen comes from the legendary Tsumeb Mine in Namibia, one of the world’s most celebrated mineral localities. Tsumeb is renowned for producing exceptional cuprite crystals noted for their deep colour, brilliance, and sharp crystal form. This piece is a superb miniature example that nicely captures the qualities for which Tsumeb cuprites are so highly admired by collectors.
