A singular, V-twinned cubanite crystal shard, that shows some crystal faces, contacted at the bottom and sides, still a decent example of this rare mineral. The Henderson II Mine at Chibougamau, Quebec, has long been closed, and it remains the only known source of the world’s finest cubanite specimens. This sharp, loose crystal shard features brilliant metallic golden iridescence and displays the classic V twinning and striations characteristic of the species.
