This specimen features an aggregate of metallic green-blue, micaceous chlorite crystals with occasional green tremolite set within a colourless crystalline matrix. It originates from the Dyno Turn (or Dyno Road) locality, a series of roadcuts located along Highway 28 near the intersection with Dyno Road in Cardiff, Ontario. The cuts, found on the west and east sides of the highway, and on the north side of Dyno Road adjacent to Highway 28, expose a coarse crystalline white marble skarn with distinct bands of pink calcite.
