This specimen features a striking vein of solid chalcocite exposed in matrix from the famed Tsumeb Mine in Namibia. The vein is dark along the exterior edges, with a bright, silvery appearance in cross-section, showcasing the metallic lustre and distinctive character of this copper sulfide. The piece comes from the collection of Robert Yeoman and is accompanied by an older Dr. F. Krantz label, adding both provenance and historical significance to this classic Tsumeb specimen.
