This superb Tsumeb association specimen features an ice-clear, gemmy/translucent cerussite crystal hosting a delicate scattering of green mottramite and prismatic yellow mimetite.

Though small, the mimetite itself is especially striking: bright yellow prisms that in places transition into greenish tones, best appreciated up close or under the microscope. A wonderful Tsumeb association, purchased by Peter Tarassoff and acquired in Tucson in 1980. Pieces of this caliber exemplify why Tsumeb is widely regarded as one of the world’s greatest mineral localities.
