Calcite, Dolomite, Quartz

Here's a charming, small, but very interesting combo specimen of pale yellow calcite, with a short termination, grey dolomite, a sprinkling of marcasite, and a clear "herkamer" style quartz on the underside. Sweet!

The quarry is part of the Beekmantown Formation that shows up at several locations, From Saratoga Springs NY, through Herkimer NY, St-Clothilde Quebec, St-Eustache Quebec to Greely Ontario.
