This is a rare and fairly exceptional specimen featuring two primary lustrous, gemmy, yellow-green brazilianite crystals atop a bed of several smaller crystal blades, with a small amount of albite matrix still attached at the base. Sourced from the Mendes Pimentel locality in Brazil, this piece is a fantastic miniature display specimen. The Brazilianite crystals exhibit smooth, glossy surfaces with sharp, well-formed chisel terminations, a characteristic feature of this locality. Their elongated form, combined with their translucency and good lustre, makes this a highly desirable specimen for collectors of phosphate minerals or Brazilian classics.
