The top of this plate is encrusted with many yellow augelite crystals, the surface of the whole face is covered in micro augelite and wardite. The specimen originates from the famous phosphate occurrence at Rapid Creek in the Yukon. We don't see much material coming from this very remote locality anymore, an excellent example. Dr. Tarassoff purchased this specimen in 1979.
