This specimen is part of a vein section that is mostly native arsenic. Asenic crystals can be seen all over the top of the specimen. The specimen was most likely mined at Mount Arrowsmith, which overlooks Port Alberni on Vancouver Island (I've hiked this beautiful mountain!). Mineral specimens of any species are uncommon from this obscure locale. A very rich piece!
