This specimen is a remarkable assemblage of numerous thin, prismatic arfvedsonite crystals, accompanied by minor aegirine. Arfvedsonite, a sodium-rich member of the amphibole group, is somewhat uncommon. This piece showcases highly lustrous, striated, jet-black bladed crystals, which contrast against the remaining brown matrix. The crystals exhibit well-defined clinoamphibole cross-sections when observed along the "c" axis—a diagnostic feature of the species. The overall sculptural form of the specimen enhances its visual impact, with the well-arranged crystals contributing to its three-dimensional quality.
