This attractive miniature features numerous sharp, lustrous, white trapezohedral crystals of analcime from the world-renowned Mont Saint-Hilaire locality in Quebec. The crystals are bright white and opaque, displaying excellent form and sheen. On the reverse side, there are spheroidal aggregates of an unidentified beige micro crystallization (siderite?).
A fine and well-formed example of analcime from one of the world’s most celebrated mineral localities, noted for its remarkable diversity and exceptional crystal quality.
